Our Story

Brothers Elias and Honorio Zaragoza spent years working in the restaurant industry before deciding to open a place of their own. Once they felt confident about taking that step, they drew on their combined experience to launch Cancun Mexican Restaurant & Grill’s first location at Westlake nearly 18 years ago. “We wanted to share our version of Mexican food with families in a comfortable environment,” Elias says.

Today, the brothers — along with their other two brothers, Noel and Manuel, who primarily help at Westlake — split their time between both locations, ensuring that one of them is always present. “We like to be there to provide what’s needed or even for people just to see us,” Elias says. “Like a family, we run the business and communicate with each other. It’s not really like owners, more like a friendship.”
